Data Deletion
Last updated: 2026-10-26
You decide how much of your data IXSocial keeps. You can disconnect a single social account, remove IXSocial from your Instagram or Facebook account, delete a brand or a member, or delete your whole account yourself — on the web or in the mobile app.
1. Disconnect the channel in IXSocial
This is the fastest route and immediately deletes everything received from your social media account:
Once disconnected, IXSocial loses all access to that account. Posts already published remain on the social network itself — those must be deleted there.
- Go to Brand settings → Social accounts.
- Press "Disconnect" next to the channel you want removed.
- The channel’s access token, username, and account identifier are deleted from the database at that moment.
2. Remove IXSocial from your Instagram or Facebook account
You can also remove the app directly from the social network’s own settings:
Meta then sends us an automatic deletion notification. As soon as it arrives, the access token, username, and account identifier belonging to that account are deleted and a tracking code is returned to you. You can check that code’s status on this page.
- Instagram: Account → Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → IXSocial → "Remove".
- Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → IXSocial → "Remove".
3. Delete your account yourself
Anyone with an IXSocial account can delete it without contacting us:
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Before confirming, the screen tells you exactly what will be deleted — including whether the whole company goes with your account.
- On the web: open Profile and press "Delete account" at the bottom of the page.
- In the mobile app: More → Profile → "Delete account".
- To confirm, type your account’s email address. The account is deleted the moment you confirm.
4. What is deleted with your account
The following is deleted immediately. Posts you created stay with your company, without your name on them.
- Your account: name, email address, password hash, role, and profile image.
- Your sign-in sessions on every device, and the devices registered for push notifications.
- Your own entries in the activity log.
5. If you are the company’s only admin
Then the whole company is deleted together with your account. To keep the company, first make another member an admin in Users. Deleted with the company:
- All members of the company and their accounts.
- All brands, their settings and logos.
- All channel connections and their access tokens.
- All posts, post texts, images and videos, including the files in our storage.
- Presenter people (their photos) and their cloned voices — the voices are also removed from our voice provider, ElevenLabs.
- Support conversations and notifications.
- The subscription and the saved payment card. Auto-renewal stops; the unused part of a paid period is not refunded — see /refunds.
- The company’s payment history in IXSocial.
6. What stays
- Posts already published on social networks stay there — delete them on the network itself.
- Records of card payments are kept by the bank and the payment provider for as long as the law requires.
7. Deleting only part of your data
- Remove a member: an admin can delete any member of the company in Users.
- Delete a brand: an admin can delete a brand in Brand settings → Brands; its posts, channels and settings are deleted with it.
8. Deleting by email
If you cannot sign in, or prefer not to do it yourself, email info@iktex.az from your account’s email address. "Account deletion" in the subject line is enough. Requests are completed within 30 days.
9. Status of a deletion request
A deletion request received through Meta is given a tracking code. Append that code to this page’s URL to see its status — for example: /data-deletion?code=CODE.
10. Contact
For any question about deletion, write to info@iktex.az. How data is processed: /privacy.
